Energy Efficiency Venues Grant from the Big Lottery

Energy Efficient Venues- The Big Lottery Fund will make grants to voluntary and community organisations in Northern Ireland that want to make their community venue more energy efficient. Some of our groups who have been successful:

Ellis Association, Killylea has been awarded £10,000.00 install insulation in Killylea District Orange Hall. This will increase the energy efficiency of this building.

Mullabrack Community Partnership has been awarded £9,898 to carry out improvements to their hall, insulate the loft, replace roof tiles and fit new external doors. These improvements will help the group cut cost and save money.

Derrykeevan Community Association has been awarded a grant of £9,871. The group will use the grant to carry out an energy audit on their hall, install PVC windows and buy new curtains. These energy efficiency improvements will mean the group can reduce heating and electricity costs, benefit the environment and put more money into running activities for the local community.

Corkley Development Association  have received £7439 from the Big Lottery Fund Energy Efficient Venues Grant for cavity wall insulation, new water boilers for kitchen, and new heating boiler.

Carleton Street Community Development Association have been awarded a grant of £2700.00 from the Energy Efficiency Venues Programme for an Energy Audit and professional fees.

Ahorey Cultural and Historical Association have received a grant of £9248.00 from the Big Lottery Energy Efficient Venues. This grant will fund an Energy Audit, insulation of ceilings and floors and replacement of doors and kitchen appliances. This will reduce their carbon footprint on the environment while creating a warm comfortable energy efficient venue for community use.
