Daera Rural Capital Grant Scheme 2019 Capital Funding   ​

​County Armagh Community Development (CACD) has successfully secured funding through The Executive Office under the T: buc scheme to deliver a good relations project (ENGAGE) where participants will have the opportunity to explore their and others cultural identity.
CACD wishes to recruit an experienced facilitator or facilitators with the necessary skills, qualifications and experience to facilitate building positive relations workshops.
The remit of the facilitator(s) will be to creatively engage with individuals from the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area
  • to deliver 6 workshops exploring cultural identity with specific reference to the study of Ireland in the late 18th century and the creation of the Orange Order and the United Irish movement.
  • To deliver a further 4 good relations workshops when participants will be offered the opportunity to achieve Level 2 Open College Network accreditation in Good Relations.
  • The programme will involve a maximum of 4 study visits and a residential to relevant sites. These will be organised by CACD staff; however, facilitator(s) will be expected to attend and some of the workshops may be delivered at these.

Rural Micro Capital Grants Scheme 2019

The Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme 2019 will be open for applications from Monday 2 September until 4pm on Friday 27 September 2019.

Micro Capital grants of between £200 and £1,500 are available to rural community-led, voluntary organisations for projects tackling issues of local poverty and / or social isolation. 
The total project cost must not exceed £3,000.  Projects must clearly address an issue of rural poverty and / or social isolation and applicants must provide a minimum of 15% match funding.

This Scheme is funded under the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation Programme.
