Daera Rural Capital Grant Scheme 2019 Capital Funding   ​

​County Armagh Community Development (CACD) has successfully secured funding through the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council PEACE IV Partnership under the Building Positive Relations theme.
 
Appointment of Facilitator
CACD wishes to recruit an experienced facilitator or facilitators with the necessary skills, qualifications and experience to facilitate building positive relations workshops.
The remit of the facilitator(s) will be to creatively engage with individuals in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon and Monaghan Council areas:
  • to deliver 12 workshops researching and examining the conflict period 1917 – 1925 
  • To deliver a further 12 workshops with story gathering methods to enable people to consider their own story, background and history and to engage and investigate the story, background and history of others on a cross border / cross community basis.Participants will be trained in story collecting and applied heritage methods with Open College Network Level 3 Accreditation. Workshops will be held in both council areas.

VOLUNTEERING SMALL GRANTS SCHEME
(source Dept of Communities)
To be eligible for grant assistance (minimum award £200 – maximum award £1,200) organisations must not have an annual income exceeding £100,000 per year and must demonstrate how their proposal delivers on the programme outcomes below:
Objective 1 – Increase Volunteer activity by groups under-represented in the volunteering population, including people not in paid work.
Objective 2 – Innovation – Increasing Diversity and Numbers
Objective 3 – Increase in numbers of new Volunteers
Objective 4 – Benefit to your local community
Examples of grant awards – volunteer out of pocket expenses, supporting the recruitment of new volunteers, providing travel, training or small running costs like heat or light etc.
