Car Crash Simulation

CACD are hosting the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and Police Service for Northern Ireland in the 12th demonstration field at Portadown on Saturday 9th July at 7.15pm as part of the programme of activities organised by Portadown District.
They will demonstrate in graphic detail a mock-car crash through a programme that involves a rehearsed crash scene with local volunteers and emergency responders that serve that community. This is aimed at drivers of all ages and seeks to educate them about the extreme dangers of distracted or impaired driving.

Some people may find the scenes disturbing however we feel it is really important to get the message across to promote safety awareness for drivers and their passengers.   County Armagh Community Development will be handing out Road Safety Information at their Information Stand on the night.  
CACD will also have an Information Stand on 12th July in the demo field at Portadown. Come along and meet our staff. Promotional items will be available.
