Link Up

CACD recently hosted a networking event for funding agencies and statutory bodies in the Court House, Markethill.

Entitled Link Up the event aimed to bring people together to encourage working relationships. It was attended by a varied range of people who mingled, shared information and exchanged contact details.

Many of the participants commented on how they enjoyed the atmostphere of the event and how easy it was to chat and interact with others, many of whom they had previously had little or no contact with. They also expressed the view that there is a need for  similar events in the future.

Project Co-ordinator David McMullen commented "This event has been extremely beneficial to CACD in raising awareness of our work, forging links with the various organisations present."
