CACD facilitate Study Visit

CACD recently facilitated a Study Visit orgainsied by Breifne In Transition Community Group based in Co Cavan.

The group visited Dan Winter's Cottage and Ancestral Home at Loughgall where they heard a talk on the history of the area. They  then travelled on to Carleton Street Orange Hall Portadown where John Proctor spoke about the history of the hall and the Community Development Association. At Drumcree Parish Church they had a tour of the church. The Study Visit finished with a tour and meal in Brownlow House, Lurgan.
