Welcome
County Armagh Community Development (CACD) is part of County Armagh Grand Orange Lodge Community Development Committee Ltd. As its name suggests it is a regional community development support organisation, which aims to build the capacity of communities by providing support, training and advice to community groups based in Orange Halls across County Armagh.
It is a membership organisation and is managed by a committee of volunteers, elected every year. Eleven representatives are elected from the community groups across the County, three from County Armagh Grand Orange Lodge, a representative from County Armagh Womens Loyal Orange Lodge, a representative from Carleton Street Community Development Association, plus the directors of the parent company.
County Armagh Community Development adopts a community development approach to its work and employs staff with a broad range of skills.
